Napoleon Dynamite Opening Credits

Number of Shots
One continuous close up shot of the changing plates.

Camera Angles
The camera angles are all the same throughout, from above looking down on the changing plates of food.

Shot Types
Close up from above of changing plates of fake food.

Use of Sound
The use of sound is mostly just non digetic acoustic music that sets the quiet scene and genre of the film, this is effective as it gives the viewer an insight into what the film is going to be like.

Mise en Scene
The use of mise en scene is limited in this opening credits as it is just a table with plates of paper food cut outs throughout making it ineffective in most ways, but effective in the way that it sets the scene for the mellow film.

Use of Titles
The use of titles is very limited and has little effect other than introducing the cast and crew of the film, however it is presented in a very unique way as it is incorprated with the opening shot of the plates of paper food.

Continuity
Continuity was easily achieved due to the use of just one long shot.

What could be achieved
Realistically, all of the effects achieved in the opening credits due to their simplicity, such as the one shot used and the paper cut outs.
